All textbooks published have a distinct vocational flavour, inspired by the inputs of registered practitioners, examiners and moderators, professionals and professional bodies within the relevant industry. Our textbooks comprise a series of Learning Modules or Units, each with a direct emphasis on a particular Learning Outcome covering all the required Assessment Standards.
Each individual Learning Outcome is progressive in nature; commencing with background information and a practical learning examples, continuing with a series of Practical exercises, Group, Pair and Individual Tasks, Activities, Worksheets, Self-assessment activities, Integration tasks and sample assessment questions. Each Learning Module concludes with a remedial exercise and Enrichment exercises.
The Learning Modules in a particular textbook target a specific assessment standard, which ultimately leads towards completing the required Learning Outcome. The learning material has been aligned against unit standards or the National Curriculum or the National Certificates (Vocational) Statements, but at the same time prepares learners for further study at NQF levels 5, 6 and beyond.
Our textbooks are supplied with an Educator CD with a flash interface, essentially supplying the user with full support in the form of solutions, worksheets, supplementary material, Learning Outcomes and Assessment standards, Work Schedule or year planner, unit standards and sample assessment questions.

The NCV learner books for the National Certificate (Vocational) have been approved and are listed on the approved National Catalogue for colleges.
